Tamara R Fountain, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins University and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Southern California. She specializes in oculoplastics, performing surgery both at our office suite and Highland Park Hospital. Dr. Fountain is Professor at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She lectures on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery at various scientific meetings across the country and abroad. Dr. Fountain has been elected to service as president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) in 2021.
